So, I'm sitting here at my computer with a pile of Halloween candy at my side, a noisy little boy on the floor, and a wiggly baby on my lap. The little clock in the corner of my screen says it's November 1st and I can't believe it!
This is my favorite time of year. Crisp cool weather and lots of festive celebrations and quality family time. It's also a busy time of year. Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner and I can't wait! November also brings Daxton's birthday and an anniversary, December brings Doug's birthday then Audrey's just a couple days before Christmas. Busy but so fun!
Audrey has now become busier than Daxton. Didn't ever think that would happen! He's getting old enough and his attention span long enough, that I can let him play by himself and he does great. Very nice. Audrey however, is now in the stage where she's constantly heading for the stairs, climbing into cupboards, and finding every little choking hazard in sight. She's so much fun, but it's almost impossible to sit at the computer for longer than 3 minutes at a time when she's awake. So, as it always does, blogging falls behind and my computer time is spent making family trees.
I've already had contact with lots of people asking about creating a family tree as a Christmas gift and I've started to see a bit of a Christmas rush already. This makes me so excited! I'm so grateful for the business and love the process of connecting with people all over the world and working towards making a piece of art that can represent their family history in a beautiful way.
If you're interested in a family tree, let me explain the timing... It usually takes about a week to design the tree, one to two to print, and then shipping depends on your location... but rush shipping is always an option, too. I'd love to create a Christmas gift for your family and will do my best to have it completed in time.
The ABC animals and Child of God prints can be ordered throughout December, leaving enough time for shipping.
Thanks and have a happy beginning of the holiday season!
P.S. Next post will include pictures!
