We had a great Easter weekend. We split our celebrating into two days. Saturday was spent with extended family, and Sunday was our very own little family celebration.
Daxton loved playing with cousins, Austin and Camri.
Dax didn't quite understand the point of coloring eggs. He threw more than he colored, but I'm pretty sure he had fun.
Daxton liked the Easter egg hunts, but took his sweet time eating the candy in each egg before moving on to the next.
On Sunday morning the Easter Bunny stopped by with some baskets for the kids.
Daxton got a new bike and absolutely loves it!
One of my favorite parts of this Easter Sunday was having a baby girl to dress up. Gotta love all the kids in pastel colors. So sweet!
Easter really is a great holiday. It's a perfect reminder to celebrate one of the most important events in history. Of course I love the chocolate, brightly colored eggs, and time with family, but I'm so grateful for a holiday to reflect on the fact that Jesus Christ lives!
