Warmer Days to Come?

April always brings a teeter totter of weather patterns that leaves you on your toes when it comes to getting dressed and planning activities.  Will it warm up or will it snow 'til June?  Sweater or t-shirt?  Inside or out?



Looks better than it tastes...

We're loving the warm days...

Because I'm so short, this is a view that most people don't see often.

Found this picture of Daxton from last April... most parents would run to the rescue, we grabbed our camera and laughed.  Then we helped him.

... and we're making the best of the snowy days, knowing they won't be here too much longer.

If it's going to be cold and gray outside, might as well be Conference Weekend.  Conference and cold weather means cuddling in blankets and enjoying good food... and trying to listen to Conference.  What did parents of two-year-olds do without the internet... wait a month for the Ensign?  We're lucky.

On another cold day we took a trip to the Hill Air Force Base Museum.  Dax was in heaven.  He loves airplanes.

We found a P-51 Mustang named Audrey and broke the rules to get a picture of our baby on the plane.

And, we were looking through pictures the other day and found these.  Thought we'd post them for the Stakers.  Their dog Brumbi died on a trip a little while ago.  We've tried to explain that concept to Daxton.  He didn't get it...



Brumbi was such an obedient dog and always waited for his master while getting the mail or garbage.

It will be weird to pull into the driveway without Brumbi running to greet us and lick Dax's face.  We'll miss that little "goggy" (as Daxton calls him).
