Staker Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we had a few family reunions.  First we went up to the cabin with Doug's family.

Daxton had a lot of fun playing with cousins.

Daxton and Talon.

Daxton loved loved loved the 4-wheeler.  He went on a ton of rides, and would have been content to stay on it all day.  He seemed to think it was his and had a hard time seeing anyone else use it.  If I ever couldn't find him it was because he had wandered over at the 4-wheeler and was trying to get up on his own or trying to persuade someone to take him on a ride.  He would drag anyone who would follow him over there then beg for a ride and could even point out which buttons to push and in what order to get the thing going.

And, if he found that his big, pleading puppy dog eyes didn't work then he would start to cry.  This is when I discovered that he's mastered his fake cry to the point of real, live, believable tears streaming down his chubby cheeks.  Then he'll look up to see if it's working, then put his head down and try even harder.  It's a pretty impressive show actually, and it's hilarious to watch, but it doesn't work.

We had lots of fun with family and loved getting to know the Simonsen's better!
