Why I Haven't Blogged for a While (Excuse #1)

I've neglected the blog for a little while, and here's why:

I've been working on some graphic design and learning all about Adobe's Creative Suite.  So much to learn, but so much fun!

I've designed some family trees and started up an etsy shop.  I've got lots more stuff to post, but here's the jist of what I've done.

I saw this concept, loved it, tweaked it a little, and learned how to make it on my own.

The branches are made up of the names of family members and the leaves show each person's birth place.

I loved the family tree idea so much that I decided to create one for kids.  I think it would look cute in a nursery or a scrapbook.

The leaves on the kid's tree have the family relation instead of birth place.

I'm working on different variations, too!
